For the second week in a row, the league schedule brought the two oldest club teams in Indianapolis GAA to face each other. Connors was fired up after a controversial result from the week earlier. Flynns was also fired up after comments were made questioning the validity of the win. Flynns decided then to dispell all rumours, and set the record straight. Flynns was very careful to keep the fouls to a minimum, knowing an angered Eoghan Reade was itching to use his fine tuned skill of free taking, to put points right over the Flynns players. However Flynns played very well and made sure to keep the fouling to a minimum. The game ended with a 0-12 to 0-9 victory for Flynns, which assured all critics that there was no mistake in the first meeting. |
