The Ancient Order of Hibernians presents the 2012 Indy Invitational Tournament! For the first time this fall, Indy's tournament will be supported by the NACB as one of only 5 Regional Tournaments in the country.
The full day of hurling and camogie competition will feature some of the Midwest's finest talent. The matches will be played on the city's two newest pitches at the World Sports Park, which once complete, should expand Indy's ability to host major GAA events in the future.
Indy Irish Fest will support the festivities with a hospitality tent, live music, a stage for our ceremonies, and more.
Claddagh will be providing delicious alcoholic beverages.
Food and non-alcoholic choices will be present as well.
Fans and families will be well-entertained throughout the day with our hitting cage, practice pitch areas with portable goals, hurleys and Gaelic footballs to play with, plenty of shade and picnic areas, and the Ennis Clare Irish Band. And of course, all the hurling and camogie a person could hope to watch.
Club members, fans of hurling and Irish music and festivals, and friends of the club should take the trip to the east side of Indianapolis for a thrill they won't soon forget!
Traveling teams should check out the tournament page for hotel information, directions to downtown Claddagh, and more.
See you at the games!
