StretchLab will be at the Indy Invitational

Indy GAA is excited to announce that StretchLab will be joining us for the Indy Invitational at the Indianapolis World Sports Park on June 17th.

StretchLab is a team of Certified Professionals who do Assisted Stretching for all body types. For our specific Indy GAA community, they will be focusing on Recovery, Sports Performance and Injury Prevention! 

You will see a tent and portable tables available on-site and will be able to receive a free demonstration stretch with one of their Flexologists before, in between, and after the games. All assisted stretches will be customized to meet the needs of your own body. 

They are also offering 50% off for first in-studio visits and 10% off memberships if you are interested in making this service a part of your regular wellness regime. For more information about their team and offerings, you can find them online and/or follow them on Facebook and Instagram.

Nationals Callout and Practices

As we plan ahead to the 2023 USGAA Nationals in Denver this year, we’ve started holding dedicated nationals-focused practices, which are in addition to our traditional Wednesday practices.

  • Hurling & Camogie – Tuesdays
  • Gaelic Football – Thursdays

These practices will be held at Eugene Burns Fields and as always, keep an eye on our calendar in the event things change.

As we get further into the season we’ll start to hone in on the makeup of our travel teams, but until then these practices are open to anyone interested in potentially making the trip.

In the meantime we ask that you complete this form to help us get a better idea of how many folks can make the trip, and how many teams we should register.

Our 2023 Spirit Shop is Open

The shop to purchase 2023 pub league jerseys and club spirit wear is now open!

Things to know:

  • Deadline: All orders due by May 26th at 11:59 pm
  • Delivery: About 3 weeks after store closing. Order due date is an estimate and not a guarantee. 
  • Exchanges/Returns/Refunds: Not offered. All sales are final.
  • Back Orders: Manufacturers occasionally back order items which will delay the order or possibly necessitate the cancellation of an item. If an item becomes unavailable, you’ll be notified and your credit card will be refunded.

Upcoming Coaching Clinic – 2/25

If you’ve ever been at practice and thought ‘Man, I never want to do this drill again’ or ‘Man, I wanna do this drill/game every week’ — have I got an opportunity for you! Coaching tutors Brien Shoemaker and Ciaran Connery will be leading a coaching course from 9am – 3pm on February 25 at the Zionsville Youth Soccer Association.

Introducing the 2023 Board of Directors

With 2023 right around the corner we’d like to formally introduce our new board of directors. As a reminder, board members serve two year terms, with half of the positions up for re-election this year.

Indoor Gaelic Football Registration

Our Indoor Hurling league is in full swing but Gaelic Football is just around the corner. If you haven’t yet singed up please do so here, but if you signed up during hurling registration you’re good to go!

Football Schedule: January 17th – March 7th. 
Times: First game will start at 8:30pm. Last game will finish by 10:30pm.

We don’t want to prohibit anyone from playing that wants to play.  If you need to set up a payment plan, please complete this form and then email treasurer@indygaa.com to finalize payment plan.
