Tournament Highlights:
- Friday night puck around on the beach
- Saturday afterparty at Mary Margaret’s Olde Irish Tavern
- Sunday morning brunch
- Up to 20 hurling and camogie teams
- Larger sports complex
- Six USGAA full-time referees
Tournament Format:
- Matches will be two 10-minute halves with a 5-minute halftime and 5 minutes between matches
- No extra time will be played
- A win is worth 3 points, and a tie is worth 1 point
- Score differential will break all ties, and the total number of goals for the day is a secondary tiebreaker
- Based on participating teams this year, we may have separate divisions/grades
- The referee’s whistle is to be followed for all starts of playing in the ball: puckouts, sideline cuts, frees, etc.
- Goalies can’t score directly (on the fly in the goal/over the bar) on a puckout. However, if the ball bounces in play first, the score counts.
We also encourage single players to come, and we’ll find them a team to play with.
